Intro to Ayurveda

from $35.00

Ayurveda is often called the sister science of yoga, and at its heart is a simple truth: we are not separate from nature. When we understand the elements and rhythms around us, we can support balance within us.

In these interactive workshops, we’ll explore foundational Ayurvedic principles through a modern, approachable lens, including the idea that like increases like and opposites balance. You’ll learn how to work with digestion as the gateway to vitality, how seasonal practices can support steadiness and resilience, and how the dosha clock (daily rhythm of the doshas) can help you time your habits for better energy and regulation.

Farah Nazarali is a yoga and meditation teacher and retreat leader who weaves yogic and Buddhist wisdom with conflict resolution and Nonviolent Communication, offering practical tools for deeper connection and compassion.

Part I (Feb 21, 10am–1pm):
We’ll focus on digestive fire, when and how to cleanse (in a grounded, realistic way), and practical routines that align with circadian and seasonal rhythms.

Part II (Feb 22, 10am–1pm):
We’ll learn abhyanga, Ayurveda’s fundamental self-care practice: self-massage to nourish the skin, stimulate circulation and lymphatic flow, and cultivate a loving relationship with the body.

Each workshop includes learning, discussion, journaling, and a short thematic yogic practice.
$35/workshop | $60 for both workshop
