Becoming the Parent You Needed: An Attachment Parenting Workshop

from $50.00

Sunday, Nov 22 1-4pm

An experiential workshop exploring attachment, sensory experiences, and how our nervous systems show up in parenting.

This is for the caregivers who notice the ways parenting asks more of you than you expected.

The moments that linger after the day is done.
The reactions that come out faster than you can catch them.
The quiet wondering: Why does this feel so hard?

This workshop creates space for what often goes unspoken…the ways the invisible load of parenting, our early experiences, sensory needs, and nervous systems shape how we show up with our children.

Together, we will explore:

  • how your body is wired for safety

  • why parenting can feel activating, even when there is no immediate danger

  • how early childhood experiences, unmet needs, and old narratives can shape your reactions, expectations, and capacity

  • why being triggered can pull us out of the present moment and into old patterns of protection that may no longer serve us

  • what happens when your sensory needs and your child’s needs for sound, space, movement, or stimulation don’t match

  • how to notice what is happening in your body, pause, and respond with greater intention

  • how moments of awareness and regulation can create more space for connection and co-regulation

This space may be for you if:

  • You feel triggered or overwhelmed by your child’s behaviour

  • You notice patterns you want to change but feel stuck in

  • You replay parenting moments long after they happen

  • Surface-level strategies are no longer enough

  • You want to understand yourself more deeply as a parent or caregiver

  • You want to show up differently for yourself and your family

This isn’t about getting it right all the time.

It’s about growing your awareness, feeling supported in the hard moments, and strengthening connection…with your present self, your inner child and with your children.

Because when your child comes back to you looking for safety, your presence matters more than perfection ever could.

Together, we begin to make sense of the hard and build our capacity to hold it with intention, compassion, and care.

We’ll close the day with a 45-minute restorative sound bath with Alex Vu of Nichi Healing.
