I hosted a yoga retreat at this venue and it was absolutely PERFECT. The space is private, serene, beautifully designed with so much natural day light, and thoughtfully laid out. It’s ideal for creating a calming, connected experience and I was able to comfortably fit our 16 guests/hosts. Our group has great feedback about the venue which really added to the retreat’s success. Highly recommend for anyone looking to host a wellness-focused event or gathering! Can’t wait to book again! We got to use the oversized deck, the large living/open space and it was great having a big kitchen for the food portion of the event.

After numerous shoots and celebrations at The Reverie, we can attest that events captured here are absolutely dreamy! The owners are lovely and accommodating. They have an incredible eye for detail and putting together perfect colour palettes. The west coast forest and views of Nanoose Bay, elevate this location to next level. This is one of mid-Island's most stunning venues for intimate occasions and it's always a huge pleasure to shoot in such a dreamy location.

Accommodations for 12
4 bedrooms (2 kings/2 doubles) and 3 bathrooms in the main home, as well as 2 fully private suites (kitchenette, King beds, full bathroom/laundry), open concept living & multi use spaces.

Multiple gathering spaces, including our stunning and spacious ocean-view deck, covered patio, indoor gathering room, dining area, 2 lawn and cement outdoor spaces. Enough capacity for seated circles, yoga, workshops, etc.

Cedar sauna, cold shower area, fire pit & lounge area, ocean views, quiet spaces for reflection, private forested setting, space for 1:1 sessions.

We have all of the materials you need for 12 participants. From yoga mats, bolsters and blocks, to blankets and meditation cushions and eye pillows, we’ve got you covered.
Extras include bluetooth speakers, headset & microphone, massage table, projector, easel & flip charts.
We have gorgeous harvest tables, tableware and serving pieces, tea and coffee station & all of the kitchen items and sleeping amenities you’d need.

We’re located in Lantzville, Vancouver Island, which is 15 minutes from Nanaimo and the Departure Bay or Hullo Ferry.
Near beaches, trails, and nature as well as shops, groceries & restaurants if needed.
2 hours from Victoria, 25 mins to the Nanaimo airport, 3 hours to Tofino. We’re beautifully & centrally located on Vancouver Island.

The Reverie is a stunning and versatile venue and I have used it multiple times for my photography business, to host photography workshops and for shoots. The owners are great at communicating and had the venue ready for us on time, every time. The lighting and ambiance is perfect for a wide variety of photography styles and genres. I wholeheartedly recommend The Reverie to any photographer looking for a stunning location that offers both indoor and outdoor options.
Package Options
Venue Rental $1200
This package is for those wanting access to the entire home all day (8+ hours) or overnight rentals. This would include accommodations for 12 (shared) or 6 (private), wellness materials (mats, cushions, bolsters), dinnerware, speakers, access to the sauna/firepit area, etc.
You would handle ticket sales, marketing, organizing and hosting your event. This package is mainly for those with an established audience, comfort around facilitating and hosting themselves and are ready to go!
Co-hosting
Another popular option is for those wanting a co-hosting partner to help organize and plan their event. We would market and host together, and split expenses and profits.
I’m there to help facilitate, prepare food, market and sell tickets, as well as capture images/video, and manage the BTS of our event.
As equal partners, we would discuss roles and share the responsibilities and profits in a way that works for us both.
